Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore Songs Mere Sapnon ki Rani
According to entertainment reports, Sharmila Tagore Movies had told in one of her interviews that she had shot this song in a studio in Mumbai. Rajesh Khanna (Rajesh Khanna Films) and Sujit Kumar had shot their part of the song in Darjeeling.
In the interview, Sharmila had said that when this song was to be shot, she was busy shooting for some other film and their dates were clashing.
At the same time, if the shooting of the song had not taken place at that time, it would have been difficult to get dates for Rajesh Khanna (Rajesh’s Aradhana) later.
In such a situation, Actor and Sujit Kumar went to Darjeeling and shot the song without Sharmila Tagore. Whereas Sharmila completed her part of the scenes in the studio itself.
The film was made for just 80 lakhs!
According to reports, the budget of the hit film of Rajesh and Sharmila (Rajesh-Sharmila Movie) was only Rs 80 lakh. When ‘Aradhana’ was released in theatres, all the earning records were broken.
It is said that during that period Aradhana had earned seven times more than the budget. After this film, Rajesh’s stardom reached its peak.
