Teaser shared of ‘The Sabarmati Report’
The “Sabarmati Report” teaser was released by Vikrant Massey on his Instagram account. In the video, Vikrant Massey plays Hindi journalist Samar Kumar, who is shown reporting on the February 27, 2002, Godhra train fire while seated in a studio. This has led to the description of the train disaster as a conspiracy occurrence.
While sharing the teaser, the actor wrote in the caption, ‘On this day, I pay tribute to the 59 innocent people who lost their lives in the Godhra train burning incident 22 years ago.

The Movie is based on a real-life incident
There has been controversy many times over the cause of the fire in The Sabarmati Express. It turned out to be an accident in a Banerjee Commission investigation from 2006. The Gujarat High Court, however, disregarded their findings.
The Nanavati-Mehta Commission declared two years later that it was a premeditated arson by a Muslim mob. Based on these findings, a trial court in 2011 found 31 persons guilty.

The year 2023 had great significance for the three movie stars. In addition to receiving high marks for his performance, Vikrant Massey’s “12th Fail” was a box office success.
