Indian Police Force Review: Rohit Shetty’s COP UNIVERSE ‘Indian Police Force’ is trending on the internet. According to this series, Police in India here don’t involve in real work. They are just traveling from one place to another in no time and the officers can do something like entry in slow motion on the background music of Amar Mohile in a panic situation.
Rohit Shetty’s previous film ‘Circus’ had reduced the shine of his comedy brand, and now ‘Indian Police Force’ has also tarnished his police universe.

The Simple Plot
You could hardly have heard a more basic account than that of the Indian Police Force. A terrorist detonates bombs around the country; the police fail to apprehend him the first time but arrest him again in Dhaka.
Batla House repeat incident in the series- Lack of Writing

There is a scenario in the series where the police learn that several terrorists are hiding in an old Delhi market. The police went there to arrest them, but things went awry, and gunfire began from both sides.
The way these officers wear jackets just before the encounter, it seems that these would be bulletproof jackets, but when the bullet goes through the lungs, it is revealed that the makers of the series made the policemen wear jackets so that they could only be used for their identification. They wanted to make the audience understand that these are policemen in plain clothes and are from Special Cells.
Only Rohit Shetty can tell what image Amazon Prime Video is trying to create of the Delhi Police who came out to fight the terrorists in Delhi.
It seems that it is not a police series but a joke. An IG rank officer gives up after seeing a child in the possession of a terrorist and throws his pistol toward the terrorist so that he can pick up the pistol while holding the child.
What the hell is happening?
Actors were losing their shine due to the worst storyline
This series was considered a lifesaver for Siddharth Malhotra who was not able to do anything special in films. Rohit Shetty also dusted off Vivek Oberoi and brought him in front of the camera.
Shilpa Shetty’s entry scene in a Ford car seems as if Rohit Shetty has made the intro scene of a car and not of a Gujarat ATS officer. And, how much respect Shilpa has been given in this series, becomes clear from the scene. She was just standing in the background as a sidekick.
The villain of that era, Mukesh Rishi, is also a part of the ‘Indian Police Force’, the officer holding the position, will reach the Dhaba without any fuss to have dinner with his subordinate officers and will pay the bill to his junior.
When Vivek Oberoi addresses the entire force standing from the office balcony and tries to become Amitabh Bachchan was another weak layer of the series revealed.
Along with the male artists who have been marginalized in Hindi cinema, this series also selectively presents female artists—Shweta Tiwari, whose character does not convince you. Isha Talwar has a job to shine and she does it well. But, the work of Nafisa as Vaidehi is worth noticing in this series.
Among the rest of the cast, Nikitin Dheer kept trying poorly to add Haryanvi flavor to the food.

But Wait….Nikitin Dheer is the same actor who played the character of Mukhtar Ansari(A Terrorist) in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. But if Rohit is creating a cop universe, then how can he portray the same character as both a terrorist and a police officer? He made a huge mistake and didn’t realize it. Is Shetty unaware of his previous work?
A Big NO to the Indian Police Force
The only reason to watch the web series ‘Indian Police Force’ has been the name of Rohit Shetty associated with it. But, when he is not taking himself seriously, then others don’t matter.
The cinematography of the series is so light that its set, built in a studio in Mumbai to show Old Delhi, keeps showing its weakness from every corner.
It is shocking to watch that the whole city is burning with explosions and the police are coming in slow motion, there is no sense of restlessness anywhere, and what is Rohit Shetty doing during all this? Sleeping or working on his next Golmaal?

In the name of background music, Amar Mohile has only one tune, Tana Na Na, Tana Na Na, Na Na Na..! Nothing special. A total waste of time.
My advice is not to watch this series because apart from the basic storyline, useless acting, and bad dialogue, there is nothing in the series.
