Started career with tailoring
The actor was 19 or 20 when his first wife Karuna died and he was left alone with his newborn daughter Jyoti. This broke them from within. After this he took up a job, but due to lack of interest in it, he could not continue it for long.
The moan of expression also started hurting the heart. The financial condition of the family was not very good, so Rajpal started tailoring before joining the acting line. He got a job of a tailor in the Ordnance Factory.
Rajpal got the job, but his dream was to join the army. For this, he tried hard, but when the officials saw his short stature in the rally, he got nothing except rejection.
He understood that nothing would happen to him here. So, forgetting everything, he started working in the ordinance factory. But they say that where there is a will, there is a way. Something similar happened with Rajpal also. He did not do this job for long.

When Rajpal’s first wife died, his daughter Jyoti was one day old. Rajpal was also young. He was young and had a great opportunity to build his life, but due to the responsibility at a young age, he was not able to understand how to do and what to do.

Rajpal took admission in Bharatendu Natya Academy in 1992. After taking acting training here for two years, he attended the National School of Drama. It was from here that Rajpal’s career got direction and after a few years, while traveling to Mumbai, Rajpal started acting in TV and then films.

Before coming into films, Rajpal worked in Prakash Jha’s Doordarshan show ‘Mungeri Ke Bhai Naurangilal’ in the late 1990s.
This show was the next part of ‘Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne’, which became a big hit across the country. After this, Rajpal started his journey on the big screen with ‘Mast’ in 1999.
