Regarding the films released on digital platforms, the artists are just satisfied that they will not have to face the box office numbers.
It is good that the film Murder Mubarak was released on Netflix, where the audience has the option to rewind and forward the story. Otherwise, it was impossible to understand this complex story in the theater.

The Plot of Murder Mubarak
The film begins with Diwali Tambola Nights (a type of game) being held in a club for Delhi’s elite class. The other members also reach there along with Ranvijay Singh (Sanjay Kapoor) and Shehnaz Noorani (Karisma Kapoor), the two members who are contesting for the election of club president.
There the club’s Zumba trainer Leo (Ashim Gulati) is found dead. ACP Bhavani Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) arrives to investigate. He very soon comes to the conclusion that it is not an accident but murder.
Every member of the club is under suspicion because Leo knew everyone’s secret. Everyone has a reason to kill him. It would not be right here to tell who is the real murderer.
Screenplay of Murder Mubarak
When the film starts and only the characters are introduced for about 12 minutes, it seems that an interesting story will be seen, but the effort that writers Ghazal Dhaliwal and Suprotim Sengupta have made in putting this story of the book into the film is the same. Proves to be the biggest risk.
When the story had to be brought on the digital platform, the makers had every opportunity to convert it into a series. Perhaps the story would have become interesting in six to eight episodes.
Justice would have been done even to those characters who are merely mentioned in the film. The characters in the film have become a mess.
Background Music
There is a pressure to remember the names. The method of police investigation is also like a film. Background score plays a very important role in murder mystery films, but it is sorely lacking in this film. The little glimpse into the world of the elite class is funny than real.
Hearing the president of the club say that murder is not allowed here, it feels like it is a joke and not a murder. The rest of the club members are sitting comfortably as if they are used to watching murders.
If Homi Adajania wanted, he could have made this story interesting with fewer characters.
Acting
Homi has not been able to get the work done in his style by experienced stars like Sanjay Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, and Karisma Kapoor.
There is nothing new in the acting of Vijay Verma and Pankaj Tripathi. There are some layers in Sara Ali Khan’s character, which she succeeds in playing.
Rest, the Movie is interesting, and fun to watch but don’t accept much from it.
