Sooraj Barjatya Birthday: Rajshree Production has its history. For 77 years, it has entertained the audience from TV to films. This production house was founded by Tara Chand Barjatya. It was established in the year 1947 but it took 15 years to make the first film.
Rajshree made the first film named ‘Aarti’ in the year 1962. From then till today, this production house has made great films and has established an image among the people as making clean films. Some movies were seen garnering praise in International Awards and some in National Awards.
Today, the reins of Rajshree are in the hands of Tarachand’s grandson Suraj Barjatya. Sooraj Barjatya’s birthday is on 22nd February.

Sooraj Barjatya comes from a Marwari family. Who was brought up in Mumbai and had seen films, sets, acting, and work since childhood. In such a situation, no one was surprised when he grew up and handled the reins of his inheritance brilliantly.

Sooraj Barjatya started his career with ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. Salman Khan and Bhagyashree were seen in it. The film was a superhit and Barjatya also became famous as a director. This movie became the highest-grossing film of that year. Which had won many Filmfare awards.
33 years of career and only 8 films
Sooraj Barjatya is also known as Mr. Perfectionist. Who did only 8 films in his career of 33 years. He both wrote and directed films including Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Sath Sath Hain, Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Main Prem ki Deewani Hoon, Vivah, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. ‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ was the only film he hadn’t written. And after so many years he made Unchai in the year 2022.
When he shouted at Kareena and Abhishek
In an interview given to ‘Filmfare’, Sooraj Barjatya had once said that the shooting of the film ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani’ was going on. He was fed up after seeing the foolishness and mischief of Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan.
In such a situation, he got angry at both of them. He told Starkids that he would wake up at four in the morning and bear all this for a while.
Both of them straightened up after hearing the director’s scolding. They immediately stopped pranking and chatting with each other.
